Hiring Range: $30.68-$33.00/hour (additional $.50-1.00 per hour depending on level of bilingual assessment passed)
Hours: 8:00 - 5:00 Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week
The Bilingual Triage Nurse is responsible for evaluating CHA patient conditions over the phone, determining the urgency of their medical needs, and directing them to appropriate levels of care. The nurse will work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure timely and efficient delivery of medical services.
Primary Responsibilities:
Education/Experience: Graduation from a four-year college or university with a B.S. degree in Nursing which includes a Public Health Nursing rotation, or graduation from and accredited school of professional nursing and one year of professional nursing experience; or an equivalent combination of training and experience. Experience in telephone triage, pediatrics, and emergency department triage is desired. Bilingual assessment must be passed.
License: A valid license to practice as a Registered Nurse in North Carolina. Current CPR certification.
