Ca Signs is Hiring a Mechanical Assembler Near Pacoima, CA
We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Assembler to join our team. The Mechanical Assembler will be responsible for assembling various signage products using power tools, hand tools, and mechanical knowledge. This position will be based in our warehouse.
Responsibilities:
o Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and assembly instructions.
o Use power tools and hand tools to assemble products according to specifications.
o Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy.
o Troubleshoot and resolve assembly issues or malfunctions.
o Maintain a clean and organized work area.
o Follow all safety protocols and guidelines.
Required Qualifications:
o High School Diploma
o Valid Driver’s License
o Ability to pass background check
o Ability to pass drug test
o Knowledge of power tools, hand tools, and mechanical equipment.
o Ability to read and interpret blueprints and assembly instructions.
o Knowledge of warehouse operations.
o Fluency in English (both spoken and written) is a requirement for this position. Candidates must be able to communicate effectively in English to understand and follow instructions, interact with coworkers, and maintain a safe working environment.
Skills:
o Proficiency in using power tools such as drills, saws, and screwdrivers.
o Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
o Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
o Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
o Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Desirable Education:
o Vocational or technical training programs related to manufacturing, mechanics, or industrial technology.
o Safety Training Certifications (OSHA, etc.)
o Previous experience in Aerospace, or Fabrication Shop a plus!
