Tarkett is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to work with the site maintenance director and plant manager to monitor the daily activities of the maintenance department and to effectively plan, execute and monitor preventive / predictive maintenance activities, ensure that projects and / or work orders are properly planned and executed, supervise and lead WCM PM Pillar activities and supervise contracted services.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

• Oversee delegation and assignment of daily corrective, preventive and predictive repair work orders for all shifts.
• Assist the site maintenance director plan large maintenance activities, such as predictive maintenance work, expense and capital projects and planned downtime.

Ensure proper parts, labor and work instructions are available for this work

• Contact vendors and outside contractors for parts, supplies, labor support and information as needed to enable the Maintenance Department to support production.
• Provide consistent feedback to employees regarding job task performance and accomplishment of goals. Address unacceptable performance by administering disciplinary actions fairly using the Tarkett policy handbook.
• Oversee maintenance / repairs that are performed by outside contractors, verify performance and productivity, ensure outside contractors adhere to the Tarkett safety and environmental policies.
• Provide departmental informational, KPI’s and historical data to support management.
• Perform necessary managerial duties in the absence of the maintenance director.
• Perform machine repairs, as needed, to assist in the facilitation of production.
• Create preventive maintenance schedules, spare part inventories and maintain the OEM technical information library for existing and new equipment.

As well as, removal of these items when decommissioning equipment.

In conjunction with the engineering, production and maintenance staff, evaluate equipment downtime through root cause analysis tools and create sustainable preventive / predictive systems to avoid or prevent reoccurring downtime.

Requirements (including educational requirements) :

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Previous maintenance related experience
• Previous maintenance material purchasing experience, as well as working with multiple suppliers / vendors
• Associates degree preferred, or minimal 5 years proven work history in related field.
• Ability to lift 40 lbs, bending, climbing stairs.
• Experience in SAP, MVP or related CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software.
• Ability to communicate and work with multiple disciplines (i.e., Maintenance Technicians, Managers, Engineering, Manufacturing and Purchasing)
