Background The Research and Development team for Gasketed Plate Heat Exchangers (GPHE) pioneers new and innovative technological concepts to meet the future demands of the industry. We conceptualize new products and enhance existing ones to bolster our competitiveness with the goal of leading the market. Our team boasts expertise in Mechanical Technology, Thermal Technology, Materials Technology, and Chemistry. The Test Center offers thermal and mechanical testing facilities for heat exchangers. About the job We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Test Engineer to join our team at the Test Center in Lund. At the Test Center, we conduct mechanical and thermal performance tests for our heat exchangers. As a test engineer, you will perform various tests, including thermal performance, functional, and application tests to validate the efficiency of our heat exchangers. Meticulous and comprehensive documentation is essential. Additionally, you will collaborate with colleagues to update existing methods and develop new ones. Your responsibilities will also include equipment calibration and maintenance. Safety always comes first in our daily operations, and risk assessment is integral to our work ethic. As we expand, you will contribute to establishing specifications for the new Innovation Center. Who you are We are seeking someone who can excel in the role of Test Engineer—a person who is detail-oriented, service-oriented, and possesses a profound technical curiosity. You should have at least 2 years of experience in similar roles. Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential, as you will collaborate with multiple stakeholders simultaneously. Most importantly, you should have a growth mindset, be inquisitive, and be eager to acquire new skills. What you know You should have at least two years of relevant university education, such as chemical or mechanical engineering. Proficiency in areas such as process technology, measurement technology, calibration, report writing, and thermodynamics is advantageous. Fluent English proficiency, both spoken and written, is required. Knowledge of Swedish is a bonus but not mandatory.
