Our Opportunity:

C4 Therapeutics is seeking a highly talented and experienced program manager to contribute to the discovery of novel Degrader therapeutics. The ideal candidate will have the scientific background and industry experience to accelerate the C4T portfolio projects.

The Associate Director, Program Management will drive the planning and execution of portfolio projects towards goals while contributing to the fulfillment of C4T’s strategic, scientific and cultural vision. This role will support programs across the C4T portfolio. Candidates must be adaptable to a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with a strong desire to succeed in a team setting.

This Role:

• Partner with Project Lead to develop and execute project strategy to move through the research & development lifecycle
• Organize and facilitate team meetings in collaboration with the Project Lead - develop meeting agendas, issue meeting minutes, and track action items to completion
• Develop and maintain cross-functional timelines, risk registers, and action logs
• In collaboration with Project Lead, identify, communicate, and escalate project-wide interdependencies, issues, and key decisions
• Ensure that cross-functional stakeholders and leaders are informed of the project by clearly communicating updates within the project team and with leadership
• Serve as a thought partner to Project Lead through strategy definition and problem solving
• Actively participate in Portfolio & Program Management team by supporting team objectives of continuous improvement
• Establish and maintain both open and formal communication with senior leadership through timely portfolio reviews, resource evaluation, and gap analyses

Your Background:

• Bachelor's degree in a core life science discipline; M.A. or Ph.D. preferred
• 5 – 7 years of relevant working experience in biotech/pharma R&D
• Experience managing research & development programs
• Expertise in project management methodologies and tools (OnePager, ThinkCell, Smartsheet, MS Office)
• Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills; ability to communicate across all levels of the organization internally and externally expected
• Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and cooperatively in a creative, entrepreneurial, and productive team environment
• Proactive attitude and passion for discovery and development of therapeutics required
