As a Drywall Finisher, you will be responsible for applying finishing touches to drywall surfaces, ensuring a smooth and seamless appearance. Duties:
- Prepare drywall surfaces for finishing by taping, mudding, and sanding
- Apply texture to walls and ceilings as needed
- Repair and patch damaged drywall
- Install corner beads and trim
- Ensure all work meets quality standards and specifications
- Clean and maintain tools and equipment
Skills:
- Proficiency in construction plumbing for drywall installation
- Experience with airless paint spraying techniques
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints
- Knowledge of plumbing principles to ensure proper plumb of walls
- Familiarity with flooring installation techniques
- Understanding of the restoration industry, particularly water damage restoration
- Basic masonry skills for repairs and patching
- Experience in door hanging for installation and repair
