Community Care Cooperative (C3) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, Accountable Care Organization (ACO) governed by Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs). Our mission is to leverage the collective strengths of FQHCs to improve the health and wellness of the people we serve. We are a fast-growing organization founded in 2016 with 9 health centers and now serving hundreds of thousands of beneficiaries who receive primary care at health centers and independent practices across Massachusetts. We are an innovative organization developing new partnerships and programs to improve the health of members and communities, and to strengthen our health center partners.

Job Summary:
The EHR Analyst position will be housed under a subsidiary organization of C3, Community Technology Cooperative, LLC (CTC). The EHR Analyst position will be responsible for teaching and helping Fenway Health staff navigate and understand the Epic Systems, EHR software.

Responsibilities:

  • The EHR Support Analyst, serves as a key onsite IT resource for facility support of a broad set of clinical and non-clinical applications
  • Demonstrate Electronic Health Record (EHR) and patient engagement software to healthcare professionals, medical doctors and allied healthcare professionals across numerous specialties
  • Participate in the development of best practices and recommend improvements to ensure an optimal level of customer satisfaction
  • Answer questions on issues surrounding EHR
  • Develop and improve product documentation
  • Work with the rest of our IT and technical support team
  • Second level support (ticket resolution) as a broad subject matter expert to resolve incidents or fulfill requests received from the Help Desk
  • This individual works with the EHR Support Specialist Team and health center core team members to develop training materials and deliver hands-on training as needed, and to implement standardization, utilization, integration and optimization plans for applications
  • Works with enterprise and division subject matter experts and services resources and the Help Desk in managing resolution of EHR application incidents and requests
  • Works with the EHR Support Team to lead, monitor, and facilitate new module/application testing and implementation for the health center
  • Works with the EHR Support Team to actively promote and support division standardization
  • Performs quality audits and tracks metrics related to EHR application use
  • Coordinates the execution and use of tools for audits
  • Builds strong relationships at the facility with core customer base (nurses, physicians, core team members, etc.) and health center leadership
  • Adheres to Code of Conduct and Mission & Value Statement
  • Participate in special projects as needed and performs other duties as assigned

Required Skills:

  • Experience working with Electronic Health Records, medical claims, and other health care data
  • Flexible and adaptable to change in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Nuanced interpersonal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with clinical and information technology personnel verbally and in writing
  • Ability to articulate to demo remotely
  • Excellent teaching abilities
  • A friendly overall demeanor, patience, outgoing attitude with a willingness to be challenged and to juggle multiple tasks and projects
  • A professional manner; well-spoken
  • Good understanding of office products
  • Must have excellent customer service mostly through telephone and client management skills

  • Good organizational skills
  • Self-starter that can drive things, be responsible and accountable
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with clinical and information technology personnel verbally and in writing
  • Demonstrated advanced computer skills
  • Understanding of reporting tools functionality and capabilities
  • Other duties as assigned

Desired Other Skills:

  • Familiarity with the MassHealth ACO program
  • Familiarity with Federally Qualified Health Centers
  • Experience working in a provider organization
  • Experience working in a managed care environment
  • Experience with anti-racism activities, and/or lived experience with racism is highly preferred

Qualifications:

  • A bachelor’s degree
  • 1-3 years training experience, preferably with EHR Health Center Clinics or Ambulatory Clinics
  • Understanding of clinical operations and processes
  • Experience working with EHR software products preferably with Epic
