Our remote teaching platform requires teachers to have their own computer with video and audio capability as well as an internet connection with a minimum speed of 25 Mbps.

We have helped over 50,000 middle and high school students through personal tutoring for SAT/ACT test preparation, schoolwork grade improvement, and college admissions counseling. These services are delivered through our network of over 150 centers in 14 states; and our 1,200 dedicated employees all focused on helping students succeed. C2 Education has some of the most skilled teachers in the country. Our teachers score at or above the 95th percentile in the subjects they teach and complete extensive training. C2’s curriculum for the SAT, ACT, AP tests, math, reading, and writing is unique and comprehensive. Our proprietary SAT curriculum alone contains over 10,000 study questions. Our teachers, personalized curricula, and college counseling resources set us apart, with most of our students succeeding in getting into the top colleges in the country.

Responsibilities

• Tutors are paid to complete the C2 Teacher Training Program and additional ongoing training
• Instruct students in a maximum 3:1 student, Teacher ratio
• Keep detailed records of tutoring sessions using C2 Student Progress Records and/or relevant forms
• Work closely with the Center Program Director to meet students’ academic goals

• Tutor tailors’ lessons to meet student needs
• Performs administrative and team based activities as needed

Qualifications

• High School Degree and at least one year of college completed
• SAT or ACT scores at or above the 95th percentile required. Applicants can provide an official score report from the last 10 years or take C2’s applicant test.
• AP-level knowledge in at least one or more subjects preferred (Calculus AB/BC, Statistics, Physics 1/2/C, Chemistry, Biology, Macro/Microeconomics, etc)
• No teacher certification required
• Previous teaching or tutoring experience is preferred
• Proficient with google workspace platforms (ie. google sheets, docs, slides, drive)
• Must have a quiet location from which to conduct remote teaching sessions without disturbance
• Highly skilled, motivated, versatile, dependable, and dynamic individuals with strong communication skills
