About the job Our Fresno service center is adding a new team member to our lineup, and we’d like to hear from you. We are seeking a Mechanic PHE to join us. As a part of the team, you will: Perform equipment receipt, uncrate, clean, strip and tear down units. Inspect, repair, service, test and package following policies, procedures, quality standards and Safety guidelines. Works from drawings, parts lists, blueprints, charts, tables and graphs to evaluate and assist in estimating repair costs, time and materials or parts needed to repair assemblies and subassemblies. Record written test results on appropriate test documents Follow the quality plan per job to repair product Diagnoses checks and correct mechanical functions through adjustments, using various tools and approved repair methods. Moves material inside shop as needed. Recognizes and communicates the need for replenishment of supplies, tools, need repair parts and other facility needs to supervision in a timely manner. Keeps work area and surrounding equipment clean and organized. Performs housekeeping as required at the facility to maintain a professional presentation. Paints, packs, crates, and document shipment of units, parts and materials. May be asked to perform some field service work from time to time (not frequent or required). What you know You have a high school diploma or GED, with previous experience in a manual shop environment and experience operating fork lift trucks, hand pallet jacks, and overhead cranes preferred but not required, basic computer skills, and: Ability to use measuring devices (tape measure, depth micrometer) as required Basic hand tool experience and application Ability to follow directions, with strong attention to detail Ability to lift and carry up to 60 lbs. as required What’s in it for you?
