You will practice with state-of-the-art cardiovascular imaging equipment in echo, Computed Tomography (CT), and nuclear. Cardiology also has two new “hybrid-capable” Cath labs, one dual-purpose Electrophysiology lab (EP) as well as a 4th Interventional Radiology lab (IR). You will work in a pleasant, aesthetically pleasing environment with congenial colleagues. Our cardiology group is part of Specialty Physicians of Illinois, LLC (SPI), a multispecialty group with 60 physicians and 20 APPs which is a wholly owned by Franciscan Alliance. Our group is full service with highly trained, highly skilled cardiologists in all cardiac subspecialties. You will join two highly experienced cardiac imagers, one EP physician, and 2 seasoned interventional cardiologists as well as six CV-APPs. SPI will serve as the nucleus of your referral base which when coupled with our very active Emergency Department (ED), will ensure that you are very busy from day one. We are the exclusive providers of cardiac services to the hospital. In addition to our existing team, we are also actively recruiting non-invasive cardiologists and another interventional cardiologist. We work in one location, so no travel is required.
