WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT Sign On Bonus Professional Development Opportunities Faith-based, Mission-focused Organization Decontamination Cleans and decontaminates reusable equipment, instruments, and supplies, both manually and mechanically. Decontamination Assesses supplies required for prescribed standard surgical procedures and sets up case carts. Maintains inventory, collects, disassembles, inspects, cleans, disinfects, and reassembles all instrument trays patient care equipment. Decontamination Monitors, reads, documents, and interprets all parameters for all types of sterilizers to ensure proper function. Emergency Performs emergency response duties consistent with training provided and in accordance with Hospital policy. People Management Activities Participates in people management activities for unit team members such as performance evaluations, disciplinary actions, and interviews. Performance Management Monitors the operations of a unit and provides input to the performance of individuals through feedback and recommendations. Tray Preparation Assembles instruments in trays following established tray listings for the issue, storage, or further processing. Labels all packages with lot control number and initials all sets and packs after assembling and wrapping is complete. QUALIFICATIONS One year of prior surgery experience.
