Ready to work in an environment oriented around serving each other and making people’s day? As a Salon Coordinator, you will be the first hello and last goodbye of our customer's salon or spa experience. You will serve as our first impression and be responsible for creating, maintaining, and completing appointments for new and existing clientele. We are looking for someone to enthusiastically represent our company culture that has great verbal communication skills, enjoys scheduling, and possesses inviting energy. Our ideal candidate will have prior experience working in customer service or the hospitality, retail, and/or beauty industry. You desire consistent, but flexible working hours and can commit to a full-time (a maximum of 5 days) or part-time (a minimum of 3 days) schedule, primarily (or entirely) at our flagship location in Downtown Naperville. You must enjoy people, be solutions-oriented, professional, and passionate about making guests happy and have a team-player mentality. We are looking for someone able to provide a long-term commitment that is interested in exploring future career growth within our company.

QUALITIES A SALON COORDINATOR HAS: (not limited to)

• Strong interest in hair and/or skincare
• A keen eye for detail and positive demeanor
• Fashion-forward and enjoys maintaining a put-together appearance
• Prior beauty, retail, or hospitality industry experience (at least 1-2 years required)
• Familiar with scheduling salon and spa services or willingness to learn & memorize
• Strong telephone and digital communication skills (verbal, text, chat, and email)
• Strong customer service skills and solution-oriented in case of guest conflict
• Provides world-class service to every single guest, every single time
• Reliable, on-time, and ready to ensure a relaxing experience for all guests & teammates
• Committed to the well-being of their team, their community, and the environment around them
• Computer experience and ability to operate a point of sale/salon scheduling software
• Ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment i.e., you can operate a phone and type on a computer keyboard at the same time
• Product knowledge (Aveda, Davines, and PCA Skin retail knowledge a bonus)
• Previous experience with Phorest Salon Software not required, but a bonus
• Ability to commit to any of the available shifts outlined below

Typical Working Hours:

Tuesday and Thursday 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM

Friday 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM

We are closed Sundays and Mondays.
