Job Responsibilities:

CW Williams CHC is seeking experienced Financial Accountant to monitor all financial data and prepare accurate statements for our organization.

Financial Accountant responsibilities include budgeting, managing tax payments and performing internal audits. You will act as a consultant for senior managers, conducting cost and revenues analyses.

Job Duties

  • Gather and monitor financial data (e.g. sales revenues and liabilities)
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual statements (balance sheets and income statements)
  • Forecast costs and revenues
  • Manage tax payments
  • Organize internal audits
  • Prepare budgets (for the entire company and by department)
  • Monitor and report on accounting discrepancies
  • Conduct detailed risk analyses to assess potential investments
  • Analyze financial trends

Skills and Qualifications:

  • An analytical mind
  • Negotiation skills and the ability to develop strong working relationships
  • Commercial and business awareness
  • Good communication skills – both written and verbal
  • A keen eye for detail and desire to probe further into data
  • Deadline-orientated and an ability to stick to time constraints
  • Experience with FQHC (Federally Qualified Health Center) and grant reporting and auditing a must

Education

Bachelors or Master’s of Science Degree in Finance, Business Finance, Financial Management, Accounting, or Managerial Accounting.
