C&W Swiss, Inc. is Hiring a Quality Specialist - 1st Shift Near Englewood, OH

Job description

C&W Swiss, Inc. is seeking to add a Q.C. Specialist to our team. C&W Swiss manufactures precision medical instruments, spinal implants, and bone screws using Star Swiss Style CNC lathes. We are a family-owned machine shop that has been in business for over 24 years, operating first shift only. If you work for C&W Swiss you will be a name not a number, in our clean, well lit, climate-controlled facility.

Responsibilities:

· Final Inspections

· Visual Inspections

· Inspection of Documentation

· Satisfy all established quality assurance requirements related to production

· Report any non-conformances to the Quality Manager

· Make recommendations and suggestions to achieve continual improvement

· Encourage and participate in cooperative working relationships

· Maintain business and customer confidentiality

· Follow all safety, fire prevention, sanitation, and smoking regulations

· Assist in program planning and goal setting

· Report regularly to Quality Manager quality assurance and inspection issues

· Ensure all equipment and materials used are operated and maintained in a safe and efficient manner.

Qualifications:

Required Skills:

· Competent in operation of printers, computers, and Microsoft Office (including but not limited to; excel, word, and outlook.)

· Strong math skills - able to do arithmetic and geometry.

· Ability to use basic inspection devices (micrometers, calipers, pin and thread gages, ect.)

· Ability to use Optical Comparator

· Ability and desire to learn new skills

· Good communication and teamwork skills

· Basic Understanding of ISO Quality Management Systems and documentation

· Strong analytical skills

· Self motivated

· Ability to work in a fast paced environment

Preferred Skills:

· Experience with ISO Standard 13485:2016

Education Requirement: High School Diploma or Equivalent

Pay: Negotiable upon skill level
