We are seeking a skilled and experienced Collaboration Architect to join our dynamic team. As a Collaboration Architect, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and optimizing cutting-edge collaboration solutions using Cisco Webex technologies. Your expertise will drive the development of innovative communication and collaboration strategies that enhance productivity, efficiency, and connectivity within our organization.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including managed services, professional services, solutions engineers, training, support, to gather requirements and design comprehensive Cisco Webex collaboration solutions tailored to meet specific customer and organizational needs.
• Lead the architecture and design of Cisco Webex platforms, including Webex Meetings, Webex Teams, Webex Calling, Webex rooms and related integrations.
• Develop and maintain detailed technical documentation, including system diagrams, architecture blueprints, and implementation plans.
• Provide expert guidance in configuring, deploying, and managing Cisco Webex solutions, ensuring optimal performance, security, and scalability.
• Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to collaboration, unified communications, and cloud-based solutions.
• Conduct assessments of existing customer collaboration environments, identifying sales and services opportunities.
• Collaborate with customers, vendors, service providers, and internal teams to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to Cisco Webex solutions.
• Work with training team on knowledge-sharing initiatives to empower customers in effectively utilizing Cisco Webex tools and features.
• Drive continuous improvement efforts by evaluating the effectiveness of collaboration solutions and proposing optimizations to align with evolving customer goals.
• Participate in the evaluation of third-party integrations and tools that enhance the capabilities of Cisco Webex collaboration solutions.
• Design and develop Webex Contact Center solutions.

Qualifications

• REQUIRED
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field or equivalent years of relevant experience required.
  • At least seven years of proven experience as a Collaboration Architect, Solutions Architect, or similar role, with a focus on Cisco Webex and Cisco Unified Communications Manager technologies.
  • A deep understanding of unified communications, VoIP, video conferencing, instant messaging, and other collaboration technologies required.
  • Proficiency in designing and deploying cloud-based collaboration solutions, preferably with experience in Cisco Webex Control Hub and Webex Hybrid Services required.
  • Strong knowledge of network protocols, security protocols, and authentication mechanisms related to collaboration platforms required.
  • Expertise in integration of Cisco Webex solutions with third-party applications, on-premises systems, and cloud platforms required.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues in collaboration environments required.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders required.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously and meet deadlines required.

• PREFERRED
  • At least one Cisco certification such as CCNP Collaboration, CCIE Collaboration, or equivalent certifications strongly desired.
  • Experience with other Cisco collaboration technologies such as Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM), Cisco Unity Connection, and Cisco Contact Center solutions strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with software-defined networking (SDN) concepts and their application in collaboration architectures preferred.
  • Knowledge of scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, etc.) for automation and integration purposes is helpful.
