St. Petersburg based manufacturing company is in need of a Stockroom Associate.

This position plays a crucial role in managing inventory and ensuring the efficient flow of products through our stockroom.

$15.00 to $17.00 per hour depending on experience (overtime is available)

8am to 4 : 30pm Monday thru Friday

Key Responsibilities :

1. Receive and Count Quantities of Products :

• Receive incoming shipments of products and verify the quantity against packing lists.
• Accurately count and inspect received items to ensure they meet quality standards.

2. Inventory Management :

• Perform inventory transactions using company software to update stock levels.
• Ensure correct quantities of items are maintained on stockroom shelves.
• Generate labels for products and affix them to inventory as needed.

3. Flag Low Quantity Items :

Identify items with low stock levels and communicate these to the Purchasing Department for timely replenishment.

4. Packaging and Shipment :

• Break down and discard empty packaging materials.
• Prepare and pack products for shipment, ensuring items are well-protected and appropriately labeled.

5. Order / Job Processing :

Safely operate appropriate machinery in accordance with safety protocols and guidelines.

7. Team Collaboration :

Contribute to the overall team effort by completing related tasks and assisting colleagues when needed.

Qualifications and Skills :

• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
• Availability to work weekends when necessary.
• Basic knowledge of data entry software, including MS Excel and MS Word.
• High school diploma / GED, Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Previous experience operating warehouse machinery is preferred. Must be able to stand or sit for long periods of time, bend, stoop, twist, reach overhead, kneel, and lift 20-35 pounds on a regular basis
