Behavior Health Consultant (also known as Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
C. Richardson Counseling and Consulting is seeking a passionate and versatile Behavior Health Consultant with a heart for children and adults as well as their families who are living with Autism or other Developmental Disabilities to join our team, as we continue to develop our Behavior Health Consultant Services throughout North Carolina, South Carolina and Georgia. Behavior Health Consultant will be responsible for consulting, development and implementation of individualized Behavior Intervention Plans for each client.
The Behavior Health Consultant may also consult, attend client related meetings, provide training to caregivers, conduct behavioral evaluations of clients, and design behavior and individual support plans for clients. The Behavior Health Consultant is required to adhere to and promote adherence to the BACB’s Professional and Ethical Compliance Code for Behavior Analysts®. The Behavior Health Consultant maintains a weekly billable caseload of service hours as directed by the Director of Operations.
Job Responsibilities:
· Conduct intake evaluations including functional behavioral assessments and skills assessments
· Use appropriate evaluation tools.
· Design positive behavioral treatment and skill acquisition plans with goals tailored to the individual
· Monitor/ graph data, and adjust strategies as needed to ensure progress, and provide routine progress summaries, as performed by Behavior Health Consultants.
· Train Caregivers and other Client Caregiver Team Members.

· Demonstrates understanding of autism spectrum disorders, psychiatric illness, behavior management and biopsychosocial functioning across the life span. Demonstrates sound judgement, initiative, integrity, dependability, decision making abilities, excellent communication skills (written and oral), and leadership/management/teaching skills.
