Job Description and Responsibilities:
C&K Trucking, the Drayage Specialists, is actively seeking an Intermodal Field Safety Specialist for our Houston terminal.

Monitor Hours of Service, unsafe driving events, Form & Manner, and Unidentified Driving Events within our ELD platform to ensure full compliance of our contractors
Complete orientation for new contractors
Assist Onboarding Team in collecting necessary applicant documents
Perform Terminal inspections of trucks
Oversee contractor and truck expirations by collecting documents for Safety Compliance representative such as updated DOT physicals, CDL, truck registrations, etc.
Work with and train terminal operations staff in safety related issues
Work well with all departments while promoting a one team - one goal objective

Skills and Basic Requirements:

Basic computer skills are necessary
Knowledge of MS Outlook and Excel
Bilingual English/Spanish a plus
Able to efficiently multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Solid attention to detail with a strong attendance record and positive attitude
Promote a team environment with other team members, including all drivers
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
