C&D Tree Service is Hiring a Tree Climber/Aerial Lift Operator Near Vienna, VA
Tree Climber / Aerial Lift Operator
Requirements:
- Valid Class B CDL; clean driving record
- Maryland State Tree Expert License and / or ISA Tree Worker Certification; EHAP
Preferences:
- 2 years of experience with an Ariel Bucket Truck
- Working knowledge of the tree care industry; management experience
- Knowledge of the D.C. Metropolitan Area
- CPR/First Aid; Aerial Rescue
Description:
- Performs tree trimming and tree removal operations from an aerial bucket. Responsible for leading and supervising a full production crew in the removal and/or trimming of urban trees.
Duties:
- Reports to Lead Arborist
- Brief production crew on job details before departure
- Ensure all necessary equipment, fuel, and tools make it to and from jobsite.
- Identify and document worksite hazards.
- Ensure traffic control at jobsite.
- Supervise and approve all rigging/roping done at jobsite.
- Must complete Post Trip Inspection Report
Hours and Salary:
40 hours/week (weather permitting)
