Summary
The Pump Truck Operator position is expected to work as a valued member of the operations department. This job will primarily consist of local pump truck operations involving positioning and moving the pump truck to different job sites.
Essential Functions
Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
- The Pump Truck Operator will drive, setup, operate, and tear down the equipment
- Be able to set up boom pump at various construction sites
- Operate hydraulic boom with remove hand controls
- Perform operator-level maintenance on the pump
- Perform daily inspection of the truck
Essential Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- The ability to operate large equipment is a plus.
- Ability to work on own with minimal supervision.
- Time Management skills.
- Strong teamworking skills.
- Mechanically inclined for general maintenance.
- Able to work additional hours as needed per the job.
Required Education and Experience
- 3 years concrete work experience, running a concrete pump or equivalent
- Valid Class A CDL
- Pass a drug screen
- Have a clean driving record
- Be able to lift 100 pounds repetitively
- Be able to crawl, squat, carry materials for an extensive period
- Ability to travel to work sites.
