Position: Overhead Door and Loading Dock Maintenance Technician
Summary: Responsible for overall maintenance, repairs and installation of overhead garage doors, dock levelers and edge of docks
Duties/Responsibi l i t ies :

• Performs preventive maintenance on overhead garage doors
• Thoroughly inspects doors and door parts, removing parts and reinstalling as necessary.
• Oils and lubricates moving parts on doors to ensure effective performance.
• Records and reports details of damaged, worn, or broken parts on work order ticket.
• Installs replacement parts.
• Identifies the causes of breakdowns of doors.
• Repairs broken doors quickly and efficiently.
• Install door sections or entire overhead door while working independently or with a team.
• Prepares work order ticket documenting work performed.
• Cleans, organizes, inventories, stocks, and otherwise maintains service truck, parts, tools, and supplies.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

• Minimum three years experience with overhead doors

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods standing and walking.
• Able to bend, stretch, push, pull, and move as needed to reach, clean, and service doors.
• Must be able to visually inspect doors.
• Must be able to work at heights.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to drive company provided service

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour

• Door hanging: 1 year (Preferred)
• Stick welding: 1 year (Preferred)
