Responsible for program development grades 7-12, lends support to the entire Activities Department, the youth baseball program, and to the vision and mission of the district.

Assists in the evaluation of assistant coaches and submits recommendations in writing. Ultimately, responsible for all equipment that is issued, collected, and keeps an accurate inventory.

Directs pre-season meetings with parents, athletes and coaches as well as in-season staff meetings.

Minnesota Department of Education valid coaching certification or valid certificate from the National Federation Coaches Education Program.

Experience as a coach or as a participant in the sport.

Must have sound knowledge and background of the sport they are coaching.

Must be able to relate to student-athletes in a positive manner and be a good role model.

Teaching position may be available.
