BWI is Hiring a Maintenance Technician Near Indianapolis, IN
Associated Task
- Maintain and repair the following:
- HVAC equipment
- Electrical panels and protective wiring, including all property lighting
- Pools and pool equipment
- Appliances
- General plumbing
- General carpentry
- Electric motors and controls
- Conduct routine inspections of premises and equipment
- Organize and execute preventative maintenance measures
- Oversee contractors when professional repairs are necessary
- Maintain inventory of repair parts, equipment, and supplies
- Proven maintenance experience
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Valid Driver License
- Ability to work on-call (24-hour) up to 2 weeks per month
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Ability to take apart machines, equipment, or devices to remove and replace defective parts
- Ability to use common tools such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, and wrenches
- Experience with precision measuring instruments or electronic testing devices.
- Experience performing routine maintenance
- Self-starter with the ability to maintain focus while working individually
- Strong organizational and follow-up skills
- Eye for detail
- Professional presentation and attitude
- Strong time management skills
- Proven maintenance experience
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Maintenance-related training course certifications (CAMT, EPA, etc.) are preferred
