Buxmont Academy has 6 campuses in southeastern PA and uses restorative practices to encourage students to grow academically and emotionally. Classes are small with a high teacher to student ratio, and our staff work together as a part of an educational team for each student.

Qualified candidates will possess a bachelor's degree or higher level of education, and either PA teaching certification or the ability to obtain certification. We welcome qualified candidates who are interested in becoming teachers. We also welcome retired teachers who miss being in the classroom!

To excel as a social studies teacher at Buxmont Academy, strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential. You should have a passion for history and education, along with the ability to engage and inspire students. Excellent organizational skills and the flexibility to adapt lesson plans to students' needs are crucial for success in this role. Proficiency in educational technology tools and software is preferred, including learning management systems and interactive classroom resources. Experience in differentiating instruction to meet the diverse needs of students is a plus.
