Hourly rate is $23 an hour. Hours are up to 29 hours per week. Full-time position is a possibility. Buxmont Academy has 6 campuses in southeastern PA and uses restorative practices to encourage students to grow academically and emotionally. Classes are small with a high teacher to student ratio, and our staff work together as a part of an educational team for each student.

Qualified candidates will possess a bachelor's degree or higher level of education, and either PA teaching certification or the ability to obtain certification. We welcome qualified candidates who are interested in becoming teachers. We also welcome retired teachers who miss being in the classroom!

To excel as a Health & PE Teacher at Buxmont Academy, you will need a strong background in health education, physical education, or a related field. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for effectively engaging with students, parents, and colleagues. The ability to plan and implement innovative lessons that cater to diverse learning styles is crucial. Experience in assessing student performance and providing constructive feedback will be beneficial in this role. Proficiency in utilizing educational technology and tools to enhance lessons is advantageous.
