Buttermilk Bakeshop is Hiring a Baker Near Brooklyn, NY
We are a small bakery located in Park Slope seeking a baker to join our team.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Produce our line of baked goods: cakes, cupcakes, cookies, pies and any other production items
Ability to follow recipes, knowledge of baking and prep procedures
Maintain an efficient pace throughout work day
Understand proper use of all equipment: ovens, mixers, scales, etc.
Maintain a clean production area
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
At least 2 years Baking/Decorating experience and/or a Associates Culinary Program Degree
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Work tidy and organized - according to food safety standards
Ability to work on your feet for extended periods of time (8 hours a day)
Willing to work flexible hours
Able to lift 50 pounds – bending, reaching, lifting will be required
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week
