Brown Medical School researchers working at Butler Hospital are seeking a Research Assistant for an NIH-funded community-engaged research study focused on developing an integrative yoga and self-compassion program for Black and African American, Hispanic, and White women survivors of violence.
Responsibilities: Position includes screening, recruiting and interviewing study participants, managing research data, administrative tasks, and collaborating with other study staff in related duties.
Knowledge of clinical research procedures and experience conducting diagnostic interviews preferred. Fluency in Spanish is preferred and skills using Microsoft Office, Qualtrics, and REDCap is a plus.
A successful applicant will be motivated and detail-oriented, able to work collaboratively and independently, comfortable working with people of diverse backgrounds, and have strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
Position is per diem and involves opportunities for developing clinical and research skills in a collaborative, supportive environment.
Requirements: BA in psychology or related experience preferred. Flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekend hours is required. As data collection and study interventions may be off-site at community sites or other locations, applicants need to provide their own transportation.
