Description: Third Grade Reading Guarantee - Summer Remediation Teacher - Second Posting
Job Summary: Dates: June 10th – June 28th, from 8 AM to 11:30 AM daily
There will be required planning prior to these dates and outside of the instructional time.
Hiring will be based on student enrollment.
Qualifications: Valid Ohio Department of Education license/certificate in appropriate field, meeting requirements for teachers under the Third Grade Reading Guarantee.
Experience teaching 3rd Grade Reading under the provisions of the Third Grade Reading Guarantee.
Experience administering the MAP Reading Assessment.
Interpersonal skills necessary to communicate effectively and work productively with all levels of district staff, students, parents, and the general public.
The incumbent is also required to have effective verbal and written communication skills and be able to handle problem situations in a tactful, courteous, and respectful manner.
Written and computer skills necessary to maintain required documentation.
