At Butchertown Hall, the General Manager oversees all operations in the restaurant. This individual shapes a restaurant-goer’s experience by maintaining the dining room’s appearance, hiring and training quality staff, and ensuring good customer service.

The General Manager is responsible for understanding, discussing and educating staff on all menu items, allergies associated (if applicable) while also presenting an approachable and elevated experience by followingAmaranth Hospitality Service Standards. The General Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring the success of service and guest satisfaction. Also, collaborates with other team members and completes pre-service training andpost-service duty delegation, and being attentive during service to support additional team members and guest requests.

A successful GENERAL Manager maintains a positive and influential attitude, is detail oriented, process driven and flexible while working under pressure to ensure seamless communication is maintained through the Front of House (FOH) and Back of House (BOH) staff.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum of 2 years restaurant management experience in a full-service, HIGH volume environment.

• Strong knowledge of operations including food, beverage, staff supervision, food safety standards, top-notch service and guest interaction. Be positive, polite, and PROFESSIONAL.
• Strong communication and leadership skills for a team of 50 employees.
• Must be honest, genuine, and have an ownership-driven mentality with a hands-on attitude.
• Availability: FULL TIME! This industry is demanding of non-traditional work hours including; nights, weekends, and holidays (our busiest days).
• Must believe in the restaurant and its product and be able to share our passion with our guests.
• Strong financial and cash handling skills.
• Knowledge of POS Systems. Aloha a plus.
• Ability to work up to 50 hours a week and excel under pressure, with style by wearing a smile.
• Comfortable with a 300 seat dining experience.
