Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Pest Control Technician to join our team. As a Pest Control Technician, you will be responsible for inspecting properties, identifying pest infestations, and implementing effective pest control solutions. Your role will require a combination of technical knowledge, customer service skills, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

- Conduct thorough inspections of residential and commercial properties to identify pest infestations

- Determine the type of pests present and the extent of the infestation

- Develop and implement customized pest control treatment plans

- Apply appropriate pesticides and other pest control products in accordance with safety guidelines

- Seal off entry points and implement preventive measures to minimize future infestations

- Educate customers on pest control best practices and provide recommendations for long-term prevention

- Maintain accurate records of services provided and complete necessary paperwork

- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient scheduling and completion of jobs

Requirements:

- Previous experience in pest control or a related field is preferred but not required

- Knowledge of farm machinery, landscape maintenance, or lawn care is a plus

- Ability to drive and possess a valid driver's license

- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

- Comfortable maneuvering and utilizing ladders

- Cannot be allergic to a bee sting

- Excellent communication and customer service skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Comfortable using power tools and hand tools as needed for pest control tasks***
