Equipment Install Technician

Our longtime established business is growing and we are currently seeking an Equipment Install Technician. This position would include installations, repairs, and preventative maintenance, we are not a copier business. Providing a positive customer experience during service visits and thinking outside the box to get the job successfully completed is a plus. We provide solutions for small to large area companies that in-turn help their employees and customers on a daily basis. The Equipment Install Technician reports to the Service Manager and will operate a company vehicle. We provide hands-on training along with a strong support staff. Typical flexible work week Monday – Friday with long weekends depending on weekly schedule, (most Fridays are off or half days).

Responsibilities

• Responsible for installing, troubleshooting product for required repairs
• Visually inspect for problems and malfunctions
• Perform service agreement tasks and other job-related duties as assigned
• Responsible for following company and customer safety policies and procedures
• Maintain and comply with company vehicle maintenance policy and procedures
• Technician will have strong mechanical aptitude
• Technician will have familiarity with basic tools and maintain ability to transport both equipment and tools to customer sites
• Regular and reliable attendance

Requirements

• Experience in repair, maintenance, and construction
• Technical school degree preferred
• Must have good verbal and written skills
• Ability to learn the internal workings and repair approaches to repairing equipment
• A clean work record and ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen
• Physical requirements include ability to bend, squat, walk with heavy equipment, climb ladders, and lift 50 pounds
• Valid driver’s license
• Must be at least 21 years old
