Bush Rudnicki Shelton, P.C. is a Texas law firm with offices in Arlington, Austin, and Houston. We provide legal services to clients in Dallas/Fort Worth, Austin, San Antonio, Houston, and North Texas. Our areas of expertise include construction defects, liens and construction contracts, real estate transactions, bankruptcy, insurance coverage disputes, and labor and employment law.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Paralegal position in our Arlington office. The Paralegal will be responsible for legal document preparation, communication with clients and other professionals, conducting research, and document review. The ideal candidate will have 5 years' experience working in a litigation practice, overseeing cases from beginning to end.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and work within the litigation deadlines
  • Conduct research to support legal proceedings
  • Assist with the drafting, reviewing and e-filing of legal documents
  • Investigate facts to help in the negotiation of legal disputes
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with state and federal rules
  • Record and store client information

Qualifications

  • At least 5 years of experience working as a Paralegal, ideally in a litigation practice
  • Knowledge of law and legal procedures
  • Experience in legal document preparation and review
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent research and analytical skills
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a team and handle multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Experience in the field of construction law is a plus
  • Experience with TABS or PracticeMaster is a plus, but not required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
