LAND SURVEYOR/CREW CHIEF
Bush & Gudgell Inc., in St. George Utah is seeking an individual for a full time Field Survey Crew Chief to join our team of professionals.
Position Requirements:
- 2 years of experience leading survey crew
- Ability to perform physically demanding work in all types of weather
- Be at least 21 years old and hold a valid driver’s license to operate company vehicles
- Good communication skills
- Knowledge of operating Trimble Survey Equipment
- Good math skills
- Able to lift and carry 50 pounds of equipment or supplies throughout a daily shift
- Willing and able to work on your feet for extended periods of time
- Able to navigate uneven terrain
- Have dependable transportation to arrive at place of work or project sites
Duties:
- Perform standard field operations for ALTA, boundary, topographical surveys and construction staking.
- Coordination with staff and clients
- Directs and guides technicians and ensure procedures set by the company; state statutes and survey industry are exercised during field operations.
