Job Overview:
The responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to:
· The Superintendent will be responsible for project coordination and execution
. 5 (five) plus year's experience in NYC Commercial ground up Construction
· Simultaneously oversee residential, multi-family, commercial, industrial and institutional projects
· Provide written and verbal communication to Senior Project Manager and or GM daily and or as requested.
· You may and will be included in meetings and all correspondences that include any and all information pertaining to New York (Long Island, 5 boroughs, Westchester, Albany, Buffalo), Connecticut, New Jersey, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Maine and other future offices within the North East Region. However, you may be called from time to time to work outside the North East Region.
· Coordinates program or project planning and implementation, including assessing needs, setting goals and objectives.
· Participates in project budget planning and development
· Establishes project work plan and calendar or schedules; monitors, reviews, and evaluates progress
· Coordinates and attends meetings; establishes and maintains internal and external contacts as necessary
· Provides advice to participants; serves as a liaison; acts as a resource person by performing research, analyzing information, providing documentation, and preparing reports.
· Monitors record keeping and file maintenance for the program or project. Keep a log on customer contact/phone calls/emails, etc.
· Supervises other project staff; assigns tasks; sets priorities
· Prepares records of project activities; oversees and ensures the timely processing in and the delivery of required materials
· Verifies and analyzes the accuracy of all data and information used or generated by project; resolves any discrepancies or problems.
· Serves as liaison for department; coordinates activities and exchanges information
Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
· Knowledge of project planning methodologies such as critical path planning
· Knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office
· Excellent communications and leadership skills
· Excellent planning and organizational skills
· Problem solving skills
· Ability to accurately review and complete detail oriented information and projects
· Ability to conceptualize and organize project planning process
· Ability to take responsibility and function under minimal supervision
· Ability to work with wide range of people
· Completed and received DOB site super License
· Experience with site-specific safety plans
