Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and preparing delicious coffee and other beverages. Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, espresso, lattes, cappuccinos, teas, and smoothies
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Operate coffee brewing equipment and other machinery in accordance with safety standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar area
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and resolving any issues or complaints
- Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register
- Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure food handling and preparation are done in accordance with regulations
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and exceptional customer experience

Qualifications:
- 6 months of previous experience as a Barista is required
- Knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and different coffee blends
- Basic math skills for cash handling and sales transactions
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Familiarity with Square POS system is a plus
- Ability to handle food safely and follow proper food safety protocols
