Program Coordinator, Youth Focus Clinic SPRINGFIELD, MO

Summary:

The Youth Focus Clinic is a multidisciplinary center where children and adolescents receive evidence-based treatment for ADHD, including: evaluation, medication management, behavioral parent training, and social skills training.

The Program Coordinator designs and implements service programming in the Focus Clinic and manages effective program operations associated with strategic goals and adherence to fidelity and best practice. The Program Coordinator also supervises, manages, and leads a team of clinicians, while maintaining a clinical caseload. The Program Coordinator is to be a culture champion for the department, manage team member performance and adherence to job duties and responsibilities, and contribute to successful program operations for their department and associated strategic goals. Pending approval from the Burrell Licensure Committee, the position may include ability to provide clinical supervision to individuals in training.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Designs, implements, and manages programming and operations in a designated specialty service line and/or program.

Responsible for maintaining the fidelity of associated program, including adherence to fidelity model/curriculum, program implementation/development/expansion operational tasks as directed by supervisor, adherence to best practices/evidence-base, managing outcomes, and monitoring staffing and performance indicators.

Assists and consults with department Director on associated program budget/finances as requested.

2. Supervises and leads a team of clinicians to accomplish department and individual goals:

Includes coaching, mentoring, motivating, training, clarifying and communicating the department vision, focusing on the wellbeing of team members, building and maintaining trust, celebrating successes, identifying growth opportunities, and conflict resolution.

Assists with onboarding of new hires, requests for changes in schedule (including monitoring of staffing at sites for direct reports), and resignations.

Reviews all requests submitted in Work Day for decisions regarding approval, as aligns with policy.

Coordinates annual performance review of direct reports.

Facilitates team meetings and individual meetings with direct reports. Additional meetings at frequency determined by supervisor. Monitors achievement of required meeting/event attendance and training requirements for direct reports.

Distributes performance data to direct reports, monitors achievement of department performance expectations by direct reports (e.g. Collaborative Service Goals, documentation/service escalation, compliance), and contributes to setting performance goals for improvement in written supervision records when needed.

Assists with new policy processes changes, including but not limited to attending work groups, and assisting with training and implementation for direct reports.

Responsible for meeting department-specific CSG expectations for the minimum number of hours spent providing direct client care.

Ensures that all client documentation for individual caseload is accurate, in-line with best practices and submitted within the departments expected timeframe.

Provides and/or coordinates a comprehensive follow-up plan to all clients for whom they have been responsible at the time of initial assessment.

Participates in or coordinates emergency services in order to provide rapid aid in cases of crisis.

According to Burrell guidelines, participates in peer review staffing and departmental/agency/leadership meetings. Participates in and contributes to the various staff development activities of Burrell.

Responsive to all Quality Assurance/Compliance/Revenue Cycle procedures of Burrell. Cooperates with utilization review procedures and follows established procedures, policies and regulations.

Time commitment to administrative and clinical duties as outlined in Department Specific Job Responsibilities sheet. Performs other work assignments or special functions as assigned by department leadership teams, as may be outlined and attached hereto.

Qualifications:

Must possess at least Masters degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling or related field and at least 2 years of relative experience.

Requires state license (associated with Burrell location(s) in which they practice) as a Licensed Psychologist (LP), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marital and Family Therapist (LMFT).

Leadership and/or supervision experience preferred.
