Burr & Forman LLP has an immediate opening in our Birmingham, AL office for a Director of Information Governance (“DIG”). This position plays a pivotal role in managing and optimizing the utilization of our information assets while ensuring compliance with legal regulations and client agreements and minimizing associated risks. Reporting directly to the Chief Information Officer (CIO), the DIG will lead a dedicated team responsible for Records Management and Information Governance, collaborating closely with key stakeholders. The DIG’s expertise is essential in developing, implementing, and overseeing information governance policies and procedures to safeguard the firm's information assets and enhance operational efficiencies.
