Description

The Air/Noise Specialist assists the environmental team with compliance, regulations, studies, proposals, assessments, and permitting. This role involves high level report writing. This role also includes general environmental support tasks.

• Air pollution permitting/analysis/compliance

• Air dispersion modeling

• Environmental compliance audits

• Environmental site assessments

• Emission calculations

• Report and permit writing.

• Field assessments

• Report/permit preparation

• Minimum of a 3.0 GPA strongly preferred.

• Involvement on campus or in the community preferred.

• Candidates must be legally authorized to work permanently (i.e., without time limitations, without restrictions or without need for work sponsorship) in the country where this position is located.

• Performs other duties as assigned

• Complies with all policies and standards

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in environmental science or engineering from accredited program required

• Previous consulting experience related to air pollution permitting and compliance or internship experience preferred

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent written & verbal communication skills.
