Description
The Air/Noise Specialist assists the environmental team with compliance, regulations, studies, proposals, assessments, and permitting. This role involves high level report writing. This role also includes general environmental support tasks.
Air pollution permitting/analysis/compliance
Air dispersion modeling
Environmental compliance audits
Environmental site assessments
Emission calculations
Report and permit writing.
Field assessments
Report/permit preparation
Minimum of a 3.0 GPA strongly preferred.
Involvement on campus or in the community preferred.
Candidates must be legally authorized to work permanently (i.e., without time limitations, without restrictions or without need for work sponsorship) in the country where this position is located.
Performs other duties as assigned
Complies with all policies and standards
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in environmental science or engineering from accredited program required
Previous consulting experience related to air pollution permitting and compliance or internship experience preferred
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written & verbal communication skills.
