Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and passionate early morning prep/baker to join our team. You will be responsible for completing the prep work for the day, baking, and customer service in front of house at busy bakery.
Responsibilities:
- You will report to work at 4:45am Tuesday-Friday and 5:45am on Saturday to complete prep work for the bakery, some baking, and provide customer service when the bakery opens for business if needed. Each day is a 8 hour shift. This is a full time position
- You must be dependable as your punctuality effects the prepardeness of the bakery for the day.
- Prepare and bake a wide range of baked goods, following recipes and quality standards
- Ensure proper food handling and sanitation practices are followed at all times
- Monitor oven temperatures and baking times to ensure optimal results
- Assist with inventory management and ordering of baking supplies
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting with inquiries and fulfilling customer orders
- Package and present baked goods in an appealing manner
Requirements:
- An early morning person! Your shift will be Tuesday - Saturday and will start at either 4:45am or 5:45am. This is a full-time position.
- Punctuality/dependability is vital
- Doesn't mind being alone in the bakery for opening for a short amount of time.
- Proven experience as a prep/baker or similar role but I will train the right person.
- Knowledge of various baking techniques and methods
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high quality standards
- Excellent time management skills to meet production deadlines
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team in a kitchen environment
- Basic knife skills for ingredient preparation
- Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as required
If you love starting your day early and finishing it early this schedule would fit you! Get off at 12:45 or 1:45pm everyday and get full time hours. You must be self motivated and dependable. We will train the right person.
Pay range is $16 - $18/ hour and includes tip sharing.
