Burners Cigar Co. is Hiring a Retail Sales Associate Near Denver, NC
Burners Cigar Co. is looking for a Retail Sales Representative to provide excellent customer service and meet sales goals for our new location in Denver, NC. As part of our team, you will be responsible for educating customers on the many different products we carry and guiding them to purchase new and/or related products. A positive attitude and a desire to promptly resolve potential customer issues or complaints will make you successful in this role. Ultimately, you will ensure that customers leave our store with a positive experience and you will contribute to the store’s profitability.
Our Denver location is a retail-only location where smoking will not be permitted on premise.
All applicants must be at least 21 years old!
Responsibilities
- Greet and direct customers
- Provide accurate information (e.g. product taste profile, pricing and after-sales services)
- Answer customers’ questions about specific products
- Conduct price and feature comparisons to facilitate purchasing
- Cross-sell products
- Ensure humidor and accessory displays are fully stocked
- Manage returns of merchandise
- Inform customers about discounts and special offers
- Stay up-to-date with new products
- Maintain a clean store
- Operate and manage a POS system
Skills
- Proven work experience as a Retail Sales Representative, Sales Associate or similar role
- Understanding of the retail sales process
- Familiarity with consumer behavior principles
- Knowledge of inventory stocking procedures
- Basic math skills
- Excellent communication skills, capable of building trusting relationships
- Ability to perform in fast-paced environments
- Flexibility to work various shifts
- High school degree
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 25 per week
