Property Management Administrate Assistant
Burlington Housing Authority (BHA) in Burlington, VT is seeking a full time Property Management Administrative Assistant to serve as first point of contact for our customers in the Property Management office. This role greets applicants and the general public at the main office, collects rent payments, provides administrative support to the Leasing and Eligibility Specialist, the Property Managers, and the Director of Property Management.
Candidates must be a high school graduate or an equivalent and have three years previous office experience. Candidates should have proficient computer skills, including windows-based word processing, spreadsheet and database use. Experience in federally assisted housing programs or property management preferred.
Candidates must possess outstanding organizational skills, strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously. Must be adept at fostering positive and collaborative relationships with staff, residents, vendors and community agencies alike and be sensitive to the needs of low-income households, elderly and disabled individuals.
