Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Landscape Foreman to join our team. As a Landscape Foreman, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the daily operations of landscaping projects. This includes supervising and leading a team of landscapers, ensuring quality workmanship, and maintaining a safe working environment.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and lead a team of landscapers in performing various landscaping tasks
- Plan and execute landscaping projects, including lawn care, garden maintenance, tree care, and landscape construction
- Coordinate with clients to understand their landscaping needs and ensure customer satisfaction
- Train new team members on proper landscaping techniques and safety procedures
- Monitor project progress and ensure deadlines are met
- Maintain equipment and tools in good working condition
- Implement and enforce safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment
- Provide guidance and support to team members to enhance their skills and performance
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless project execution
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Landscape Foreman or similar role
- In-depth knowledge of lawn care, garden maintenance, tree care, and landscape construction
- Strong supervisory skills with the ability to lead and motivate a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to plan, prioritize, and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Proficient in using landscaping tools and equipment
- Valid driver's license
