Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning of our facilities and equipment. This is a vital role in maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
Duties:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including but not limited to: inspecting, cleaning, lubricating, and adjusting equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and address them promptly
- Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
- Fabricate or modify parts as needed
- Supervise contractors during maintenance projects
- Provide exceptional customer service to internal stakeholders
Experience:
- Previous experience in facilities maintenance or a related field
- Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude
- Proficiency in using CMMS software for maintenance tracking and reporting
- Ability to weld and fabricate parts as needed
- Knowledge of electrical systems and troubleshooting techniques
- Excellent customer service skills
- Leadership abilities to supervise contractors and guide team members
