The position involves a wide range of different jobs on a daily basis. The main job will be a parts manager. We sell all Kuhn North America products, Geringhoff, Parker, Remlinger, Redneck Deer Blinds, Ashland scrappers, Hustler mowers, etc. Day to day basic jobs include talking to customers about purchasing parts, building new and repairing old equipment, keeping work area clean and organized, receiving, picking, packing and shipping service/repair parts. A basic understanding of parts inventory, keyboarding, and basic math skills, ability to operate a forklift / work assist vehicle, ability to work from heights, and frequently lift/move up to 35 lbs. is required. Ag/Farm equipment knowledge is a plus. The successful candidate must possess effective verbal and written communications skills. Must be able to use power, pneumatic, and hand tools.
Our hours range from season to season. The candidate will need to be at work Monday through Friday 8 A.M. to 5 P.M. We are a large farming operation as well, so there is a chance that you can help with running equipment during the Spring and Fall when our office isn't open. Customers do call and come in on weekend days during the Spring (April 15th-May 15thish) and Fall (Sept. 15th-Nov. 15th) so Monday-Friday is 7:30 to 5:30 as well as weekends will be required to come in for some time on Saturday 8 am - 2 pm and may get called in on Sundays. We have flexible scheduling, and willing to work with the right candidate. We currently have 1 parts/service employee, and looking to add another one. Pay will be based off of experience/knowledge/education.
