**Description**

The Server Systems Administrators role is to ensure the stable and secure operation of the Bunzls computer information systems. This is achieved by maintaining and optimizing all hardware, software and associated systems. The Server Systems Administrator will participate in a team environment and apply proven communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to help identify, communicate, and resolve issues.

This position will support numerous locations across Division. Can be based anywhere, will work virtual.

***Requirements:***

* Bachelors Degree in Computer Science preferred; degree requirements may be waived with equivalent combination of education, technical certifications and related and demonstratable work experience

* Working experience with MS Active Directory, GPOs, and related technologies

* Solid TCP/IP network knowledge and troubleshooting skills

* WinTel Server/Client hardware and software

* Microsoft Operating Systems, including Windows 2008 - 2016

* Scripting/programming experience, e.g. VB, Powershell, AutoIT

* Server backup technologies and procedures

* Knowledge of basic server security and system health monitoring (Windows, Linux/Unix)

* DHCP, WINS, and DNS network services

* Server Patching and use of WSUS and SCCM

* VMWare technologies

* Cisco Unified Computing Systems

* Data mirroring technology

* Device inventory technology

* Server/Client Antivirus & security products

* Data deduplication technology

* Excellent customer service skills

* Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills

* Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment

* Ability to professionally represent Bunzl to customers, vendors and co-workers

* Ability to present ideas in user-friendly language

* Highly self-motivated, self-directed, and attentive to detail

* Effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment, with frequently changing requirements

* Office & travel between site locations as required
