We’re looking for someone with:• High School diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Six (6) months related experience in hospitality or service industry
• Current TABC and Food Handler's certificates

• Must be able to speak, read, write and understand the primary language(s) of the workplace
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of co-workers and sister property staff
• Ability to understand other computer programs (i.e. Property Management System)
• Ability to apply concepts of math including: addition, subtraction, multiplication, division and algebra, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals

Job Responsibilities• Baristas will be responsible for taking orders, delivering food and beverages to customers, and creating a consistent high quality product and experience
• Baristas must be committed to providing superior customer service
• This position includes cashier duties
• Master the Point of Sale system so that each transaction performed is accurate
• Display knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and preparation procedures
• Check patrons' identification to ensure that they meet minimum age requirements for consumption of alcoholic beverages
• Restock items using the system First-in, First-out (FIFO)
• Check invoices for accuracy as deliveries arrive at Jo’s
• Maintain a high level of cleanliness and safety in the work area
Ensure that all equipment is maintained in good, safe working condition
• Learn all safety and emergency procedures and OSHA requirements
• Ensure open lines of communication with all departments and upper management at all times via phone, email, log books, and attending meetings to ensure all needs of the workplace are met
• Communicate time-off requests appropriately and confirm schedule with management before taking time-off
• Wear the Jo’s uniform and closed toe shoes
• Respect fellow employees, customers and the work environment
