Job Title: Sales and Design Consultant

A true hunter loves the thrill of the start-to-finish win! As a sales and design consultant at Bumble Bee Blinds, you will be responsible for in-home consultation; selling high-end custom draperies and window treatments, motorized exterior shades, and installation services to residential and commercial clients in your market. You are a trusted advisor for style and decor with experience in the industry and a rich network of industry partners - interior designers, real estate professionals, home builders, remodeling experts, residential and commercial construction professionals, etc - to deliver the vision for our clients in their spaces.

You will build your clientele, source leads, drive sales revenue and represent the company's high standards, quality, and professionalism. A successful design consultant will be engaging, detail-oriented, organized, creative, ambitious, and very personable. You will use your strong listening and communication skills, as well as your keen eye for interior and exterior style and a sales-driven mindset to present innovative solutions to prospective customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide reliable, high quality customer support.
  • Provide a personal touch for new and existing customers via phone calls and visits, while following defined sales processes.
  • Schedule and perform in-home consultations on various window covering options and functionality to provide timely quotes.
  • Build and nurture strong networking relationships with new clients, existing clients, interior designers, realtors, builders, and contractors in the market.
  • Responsible for maintaining, updating, and communicating client data, project status, and job details in the CRM.
  • Monitor and review all work orders to ensure customer expectations are met in a timely manner.
  • Maintain constant communication between all departments, as well as customers, on current work orders.
  • Manage and maintain daily sales reporting.
  • Participate in regular sales meetings, webinars, and trainings.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of High School Diploma or GED.
  • Must have three or more years of experience in interior design, remodeling, window covering sales, or real estate sales.
  • Working knowledge of CRM programs is preferred (ServiceTitan and Solatech are a plus!).
  • Must have a valid driver’s license.
  • Very detail-oriented, organized, and can keep efficient notes and records.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High energy, positive attitude, and forward-thinking.
  • Strong team player and the ability to excel in a fast-paced environment.
  • Meet or exceed sales goals with a “hunter” tenacity.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Must be able to resolve problems, handle conflict and make effective decisions under pressure.
  • Strong working knowledge of common computer software including but not limited to: MS Outlook, Word, Excel, CRM, iOS.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
