Responsibilities:
  • Bookkeeping for clients of the firm
  • Enter banking and credit card transactions,
  • Reconcile bank / credit card accounts.
  • General Ledger review, month-end / year end adjusting entries
  • Follow up for resolution of pending items and questions with client, issue write ups.
  • Get the books ready for tax returns preparation
  • Payroll Processing
  • Processing payroll for multiple clients using QB Desktop or QB Online
  • File payroll tax returns, schedule payment of payroll taxes
  • Process client data/reports
  • Perform administrative tasks pertaining to bookkeeping
  • Responding to client questions
  • Coordinating with client for source documents to complete deliverables

Qualifications:

Associates or Higher in Accounting - preferred - not expected
  • Minimum (3) years experience in Accounting/Bookkeeping
  • Excellent Organization Skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Communication Skills - interaction with clients and Accounting Team
