Position Overview:

As a cashier, you are the first person a customer sees as they walk through the door and the last person they work with when they leave. The primary purpose of this position is to provide excellent customer service to people shopping in BulkMore stores. BulkMore’s staff is expected to communicate with customers, management and team members in a courteous manner. Each interaction with a BulkMore customer is an opportunity for you to exceed expectations and ensure they remain a loyal customer.

Position Responsibilities:

· Provides excellent customer service by assisting customers with their shopping needs, answering customer inquiries, and resolving customer complaints.

· Completes customer transactions on the cash register.

· Reconciles cash register drawers at the end of the shift.

· Stocks store shelves and end-caps with merchandise when it is delivered to the store.

· Ensures the appearance of the store is pleasing to the customer and meets the requirements of the Managers, including all housekeeping tasks.

· Builds displays of merchandise and complete new plan-o-grams.

· Puts up signs that identify items on sale in weekly advertisements and take down this signage when the sale is over.

· All duties described herein are to be performed in keeping with the core values and service attributes consistent with the BulkMore brand and strategy.

Position Qualifications:

· Must possess a positive attitude and work well with other team members.

· Keen interest in providing great customer interactions while sharing knowledge and passion about our products.

· Strong communication skills, comfortable in small groups and in individual interactions to solve problems.

· Be able to work in a fast paced high volume environment.

· Available to work a flexible schedule based on business needs, including nights, weekends and some holidays.

· Ability to be mobile on the floor for extended periods of time.

· Ability to lift and mobilize items weighing 25 pounds to shoulder height, unassisted.
