Builtmore Contracting, Inc is Hiring a Construction Superintendent Near Beach, FL

We are in search of a knowledgeable and eager individual with a strong work ethic to join our team! Builtmore Contracting Inc. is an established construction company with many diverse projects. Our projects range anywhere from residential remodels, residential new construction, new commercial construction, historical remodels and tenant improvements.

The Construction Superintendent responsibilities include managing the overall day-to-day supervision of field related construction activities for construction projects. These responsibilities will include overseeing personnel and subcontractors; scheduling and organizing the day-to-day activities of work. Perform work while overseeing the project to assure compliance with the scope of work and quality as established by the contract documents. Enforcement of site cleanliness and safety; proactively anticipating and solving problems that could delay construction. Promoting and instilling company values into the workforce, managing the permit and inspection process, and physically inspecting projects to monitor progress and compliance with project standards. Ability to perform carpentry skills.

This is a full-time field position.

Work hours are 7:45a.m. until 4:30p.m. unless otherwise specified.

Must be able to report to the jobsite(s) prepared on time, every day.

Requirements:

- Computer Literate, Microsoft Office knowledge.

-Maintain daily paperwork such as: daily field reports, project photographs, schedule updates and E-mail correspondence

-Conduct regularly scheduled progress meetings

-Be able to schedule and coordinate on-site activities

-Has a working knowledge of civil, structural, architectural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing trades

-Be able to read plans, have own tools, and not be afraid to strap on your tool belt when required

-Must be able to lift 50lbs

-Valid driver’s license

-Reliable transportation (pick-up truck preferred)

-Drug-free and must be able to pass a background check

-Must be accountable and conduct business with integrity

-Must have positive attitude and take pride in their work
